On May 14th, the San Francisco Art Institute opened the MFA Graduation Exhibition, Vernissage, at Fort Mason in San Francisco.
I am proud to be part of the class of 2010 and of an exhibition which, quite unbiasedly, is splendid.
About 100 Graduates have their works on display and these vary vastly in themes and medium.
I am showing three new works: An artist book called Exquisite Korks, Identity Jacket and Posers; two photographs.
You can see photos of Exquisite Korks here. I will post photos of the remaining works as soon as I have gathered good documentation.
The show will run until May 22nd, every day from 12 to 6 pm. It is free and open to the public. Please drop by if you’re in the area.
The photos from the opening were taken by my very patient husband, Tyler Hurd. Thank you Tyler.
