Breaking My Spell

I am very excited to announce that I am working with artist Michelle Morby on her project Breaking My Spell, which will take place in Iceland, August 20th, on Culture Night.

Michelle will be performing as she participates in the Reykjavik Marathon. While walking, she will be donning various outfits that depict the animals from Michelle’s fairytale Breaking My Spell.

I am the lead designer of these outfits.

Here is the beginning of the fairytale, from her blog.

There once was a horse who became enchanted. She did not realize she was under a spell for it’s magic was slow. But the day came when this enchanted horse was transformed into a walrus and had to live in the dark waters of the sea. Years later, the walrus washed up on the shores of Iceland and met a horse. This horse, being Icelandic, realized that this walrus was not a walrus but an enchanted horse. “The only way to break the spell is to go on a quest to find the answers you are looking for” said the horse. Every journey starts with it’s first step, now you must get out of the water and join me on land and I will teach you how to walk…
